Drinks and a meal. Lovely place. Great choice of foodstuff. Creel caught cod sandwich was lovely. Friend got pizza. Nice when you both want to eat different things and you can pick what food place you want to go to and eat together.
The food at Kochchi was absolutely PHENOMENAL! I highly recommend it! It’s a sensory overload of flavors and wonderful textures unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Armagan was super delightful and helpful with the menu and the chef, Don, is a culinary magician! I can’t wait to go back for more of their incredible dishes!
I visited this restaurant which has a cafe, and I ordered a cappuccino and croissant. The taste was good, and the cappuccino was well-balanced with rich foam. The croissant was fresh and delicious. The location is excellent, easily accessible from various areas. The ambiance was wonderful, with elegant decor and a calm atmosphere that allows you to relax and enjoy your time.
A great place for a quick meal and a few drinks. Located on the fourth floor of the St James Centre, this is a vibrant food hall with award-winning chefs, restaurants and street food stalls. It has a great atmosphere, although it can get a little busy at times. No bookings as they operate on a first come, first served basis, which does mean that sometimes you will have to queue. There are plenty of franchised food stalls to choose from, so you can be sure that there will be something that everyone wants to eat, even for fussy ones. You find a table, explore the food options, order directly from the food stall you fancy, and they give you a buzzer that will alert you when your food is ready for collection. Our group visited on a Wednesday evening for a bite to eat before our show at The Stand comedy club. We ordered from several different vendors. I had the mouth-watering buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with waffle fries from Chooks. My wife had a scrumptious chilli crab bao bun with chilli fries from Salt & Chilli Oriental. Another member of our party had a delectable beef burger from El Perro Negro and their partner had some flavourful chicken chow mein from Leith Woks. All our food was freshly cooked, and tasted delicious. My only niggle was the main bar didn't have much in the way of flavoured gins, or speciality beers.
I enjoy the whole experience - it's my regular spot due to variety of dishes and good quality meals and drinks. I wish you could still order drinks through the QR code at the table instead of getting it yourself, or if the two bars were open it would be easier to get drinks. But everything is delicious, the decor is outstanding and the staff are attentive. One of my faves in the town!
